If you are getting an error when saving a ticket, check this list of errors and what they mean:
Validation has been added to the Caller and Contact phone number Extension fields. Only numbers are allowed in these fields. If any other characters are found in the field, you will receive a validation error when you attempt to save the ticket.
A map launcher icon has been added to the map toolbar. Clicking this button after selecting a map search result will bring up relevant tabs in your browser with that address loaded in the search which can include Bing Maps, Google Maps, and Near Map.
NearMap is an image map that is updated several times each year for high population areas. For Georgia, this is metro Atlanta, Coastal Georgia, and Northwest Georgia (close to Chattanooga). This imagery can help identify newer construction such as subdivisions.
Suspending Tickets is now fully supported for agents. If you start a ticket and the caller does not have enought information to complete the ticket, you can suspend the ticket to complete later. For instance, if your caller needs to get more information for a LPM ticket, you can suspend the ticket until they call back with the rest of the information. There is also a My Suspended Tickets search item under Suspended Tickets for you to quickly find suspended tickets that you have been workingin on.
We have changed the name of the satellite map layer from "Bing" to "Satellite"
If you replicate a ticket with existing Remarks, and you change the ticket type to Emergency Notification, the existing Remarks will now be copied into the Other Remarks for that ticket.
Agents and Portal Users will now be prompted for an update reason for normal tickets that are updated after the second time. This reason will be required before saving the ticket.
The excavator's copy of the ticket and any copy sent using the Send To or Send To Me features will have an alert if it is a normal ticket updated more than twice. This alert informs the Excavator that the ticket is in violation of the LP rule.
Tickets now have an update number. The first ticket is Update Number 0, the first update is Update Number 1 etc. The Update Number is shown in lists of tickets, like the "General" search results.
For Large Project Meeting tickets, there is a new Project Name field available. If the caller has a name for the project, it can be entered here, and it will carry over to the LPE ticket generated. On tickets delivered to members, the project name will appear as part of the remarks. This is also available in the print view for Large Project tickets.
The excavation date is now selectable from 2 to 8 business days from the next business day (GUFPA Law Update)
For Design tickets, there is a new question asking if this is a single address. If it is, then the response type is set to "Mark Utilities". If it is a multi-address Design ticket, then the Response Type is set to "Provide a 'best available description'..." (GUFPA Law Update).
Map notes have been enabled to allow subdivision and street name notes
Cancelled tickets will now reject responses. Previously, you could respond to tickets which were cancelled.
The county line validation has been updated to be more relaxed. In some cases, the county on the ticket would not match the county on the map due to different factors. This update allows "close-enough" matches.
When Using Sketch by X Y or To X Y, the coordinates will be labelled Latitude and Longitude instead of X Y.
The map is now restricted to Georgia extents. This means that you cannot scroll outside the area from Georgia while using the map.
There was an issue with Large Project Excavation tickets where system codes such as LP01, LP05, and LP06, were being added every day from the first response from the member until the Response By 30 date. This has been corrected to only be added the first day after the member responds.
The Duration field has been updated with more validation to prevent spaces and blanks. If a blank or a space is detected, you will be prompted to enter a value.
Instructions on how large projects work will now be added to the LPM tickets, and will carry over to the LPE tickets created from the meetings.
A new search item (Ticket, Ticket Views) has been added. This will show when and by whom a ticket has been viewed, excluding CSRs. This will allow us to determine if a ticket was viewed before excavation (to check responses).
Several web services searches have additional columns added, and a ticket count by source search has been added.
Polygon based digsites will now be buffered 200', just like points and lines.
The prompt to ask the caller if they will be excavating within 10 feet of overhead power lines will not show if this ticket is an Update.
Replicating to a Large Project Meeting ticket would have invalid expiration dates. For example, replicating a Normal ticket to an LPM would not change the expiration date if the default meeting date is accepted. This resulted in LPM's not converting on time. This is now corrected.
When updating a Large Project Excavation ticket, the Legal Date for the updated ticket would calculate as if it were an original LPE. This could result in an apparent gap between the previous LPE and new LPE where it would seem it is not legal to dig. To correct this, the Legal Date on the Updated ticket will now be set to the date and time that the Update ticket is created.
